Brick Of Bone Hoops – does what it says on the tin.
Originally carved from wax, once cast these highly detailed mini hoops are polished to a high shine then oxidised for depth.
We don’t recommend you try counting how many tiny bones there are, you may never find yourself again.
We do, however, recommend treating these as building blocks when expanding your BMM collection.
At a distance, they could be perceived as simple classy hoops, but, upon close inspection, people will see you for your true goth colours.
You might find that these hoops actually do you a favour.
We’re convinced they’ll safe guard your soul from evil spirits by trapping poltergeists between the intricate web of bones.
Who really knows though, please do report back.
BONE FACTS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT HELP IN A PUB QUIZ OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT:
In the Stone Age, pendants with potent symbolism were made from animal teeth & bones, adorning clothes or accessories & serving as rattles.
Human bones were also used as a raw material for pendants.
Bones are considered to be powerful symbols & are used in religious or spiritual practices. For example, bones may be carved or painted as talismans to bring good luck or to ward off evil spirits.
Bones are used to create jewellery or other items as a way of honouring & remembering ancestors.
Bone jewellery was actually one of the first types of prehistoric adornment.
The earliest forms of jewellery began as a functional piece & evolved into religious symbols, then to decorative ornaments.
