The design was originally drawn for a bespoke & upon completion we couldn’t say goodbye so, our very kind customer agreed to let us make it into a master for you all.

Web Of Bones 2.0 – a halloween lovers dream come true.

The design was originally drawn for a bespoke & upon completion we couldn’t say goodbye so, our very kind customer agreed to let us make it into a master for you all.
We then pondered cutting out the base of the design to adorn the infamous Lacrimosa ring & well here we are, happy experiments for you.

Ziggy Bracelet
The Ziggy bracelet.

Made of pure electric.
It’s a lot of silver, it’s a lot of shine & it’s hella lot of lightening.
Having only had a few bracelets & bangles kicking around for a while now, it really was high time we sorted our shit out & produced something PHENOMENAL, so we did.
The Ziggy bracelet can be made into 4 different sizes. Please do try your best to measure your wrist as accurately as possible. The old string & ruler technique will cut the butter nicely.
Small (7x bolts, 17cm in length)
Medium (8x bolts, 19cm in length)
Large (9x bolts, 21cm in length)
Extra Large (10x bolts, 23cm in length)
*Please allow a little wriggle room for doing up the clasp, for example my wrist measures 15.5cm and the small (17cm) is a perfect snug fit*
THIS ONE IS CAST AND MADE TO ORDER, SO PLEASE EXPECT LEAD TIMES OF UP TO 6 WEEKS!
If you’re being a super nice person buying this masterpiece for someone else & you’re totally screwed on sizing then you have a few options:
- Break into their room at night & wrap a piece of string around their wrist.
- Steal their watch or something.
- Guess & probably get it wrong.
With the first two options potentially ending in a swift panicked headbutt or police intervention, we don’t actually advise either of those options. But maybe you could just email us, we might be able to help. Doubt it but it’s worth a shot.

Air Alchemy
Air Alchemy – Originally stemmed from our Arcane Love collection which we archived many moons ago.
Air, Secret & Fire Alchemy stood fast & became the back-bone, building blocks of our collection.

The air symbol in alchemy represents a life-giving force which we associate with the colours white & blue.
Air to the alchemist represents the mind & soul of mankind.
It also represents the breath of life. Air is also the sacred name of God, YHWH or Yahweh. Air’s principle is mobility & the creative facilities of the mind, giving life to new ideas & the possibility of a world reborn.
Hippocrates, (Greek physicians) associated air with blood. Air’s symbol is an upward triangle bisected by a horizontal line, but when inverted symbolises Earth.
Earth’s symbol is one of five basic elements in alchemy. Along with Fire, Air, Water, & the Spirit. Earth represents groundedness, stability, potential & stillness.

Luya, inspired by the Moquel tribal word “Luyu” meaning pecking bird, is our beaded wishbone ring.

Little Bones
Possibly the cutest bone bracelet you’ll own. Little Bones is delicate yet feisty, and looks amazing worn with any of our other jewels, or as a statement piece on her own.
With three different sizes to choose from, our medium size has seven hand-soldered bones, plus our iconic bone-clasp fastening, creating approximately 7.5″ of perfect bracelet. Add an extra bone for larger wrists, making the overall total length approximately 8.5″ or remove a bone for smaller wrists, making the length nearer 6.5″.

Death Before Dishonour
Death Before Dishonour – the classic dagger pendant.
This OG has been around since the dawn of time. Well, the dawn of BMM’s time anyway.
A high shine marvel, coming in at just over 5cm & hung on a sturdy-ass 20″ belcher chain.
The good news doesn’t end there… we’ve made matching earrings too. If you fancy dagger earrings with a little less drama, we have made these sneaky little spikes.
PUB QUIZ KNOWLEDGE:
The phrase, “Death Before Dishonour” first emerged in English in the early 1800’s, although its origins are debated.
Some sources cite it to Napoleon Bonaparte, others to Julius Caesar while the most common concept is that it originates from the code of the samurai.
It was not an empty slogan to the samurai. They lived & died by the strict warrior code, believing that death in battle or even seppuku was preferable to living a life of dishonour.

Crescent Moon
Crescent Moon, a mirror-shine finish pendant.
Originally hand carved, shaped & smoothed from a block of wax with textured back, hung on a super-strong 20″ belcher chain.
This puppy was made to be layered, we’ve got fair few options for you but we do highly recommend any of the Teeny Tiny Charm Chains.
PUB QUIZ KNOWLEDGE:
The crescent moon is said to symbolise the cyclical nature of life, death & rebirth & often incorporated into funerary art & rituals.
In Egyptian mythology, the waxing crescent represented growth & fertility, while the waning crescent represented death & transformation.
A crescent moon symbolises womanhood, fertility, intuitiveness, psyche & empowerment.
When worn, Crescent Moons are thought to bring luck & wealth.
In some cultures, they’re believed to protect against negativity. In Japan, they’re thought to ward away evil spirits if hung from the rearview mirrors of cars.
The crescent shape is used to represent the Moon, and the Moon deity Nanna/Sin from an early time, visible in Akkadian cylinder seals as early as 2300 BC.

The Antler pendant, originally carved from wax, arrived in 2012 & isn’t going anywhere. Cause class doesn’t die.
Heavy weight & sturdy as hell, hung from a 20″ belcher chain & coming in at approximately 6cm long, this shiny prize is made to withstand your everyday shenanigans.

The deer’s antlers are one of the characteristics that have made it the figure of a spiritual superiority, according to some.
Like a crown, the antlers grow beyond its body, bringing it closer to the sky and making it sacred. In many cultures, the deer is a symbol of spiritual authority.
Antlers are an ancient archetype representing male energy, strength and fertility.
The Horned God is a powerful symbol to the ancient people, named Cernunnos, Herne, Lord of all Stags. The great branching horns manifest the Spirit of the Forest – the esoteric mystery of the Tree of Life.
In the traditional Cherokee homelands of the southern United States, deer antlers were a symbol of luck & heritage.
Deer antlers represent physical power & strength & the perseverance necessary to survive.
In addition they can also serve as a reminder to be in tune with your environment & to stay vigilant.
Antlers are shed and regrown each year, symbolising renewal, growth & transformation in one’s spiritual journey.

Fire Alchemy
Fire Alchemy – Originally stemmed from our Arcane Love collection which we archived many moons ago.

PUB QUIZ KNOWLEDGE:
Fire’s symbol is one of four basic elements in alchemy. Along with Earth, Air & Water.
It was commonly associated with the qualities of energy, assertiveness & passion. In one Greek myth, Prometheus stole fire from the gods to protect the otherwise helpless humans but was punished for this charity.
In alchemy, fire represents emotions such as passion, love, anger & hate. Emotions occasionally referred to as “fiery” emotions.
Aristotle labeled it as hot & dry, represented by the colours red & orange. Fire was seen as a more masculine symbol.
Heraclitus considered fire to be the most fundamental of all elements. He believed fire gave rise to the other three elements.
“All things are an interchange for fire, and fire for all things, just like goods for gold and gold for goods.”

Lonely Bone
Our Lonely Bone ring is more subtle than the Crossbones, but just as quirky.
Lonely Bone does the job just fine on it’s own. Though it is worth knowing that it does stack a little too well with a number of our pieces.
You could go for a number of Classic Stacks, Heavy Stacks, Crypt, Calia or even just a Droplet Stack. The choice really is yours at the end of the day, your money yanno.

A bone can be considered as a symbol of mortality. When a bone is seen it often represents permanence beyond death, as bones are often the last things left of us. As a mark of permanence, bones can also be seen to represent the earth, even outside of societies with burial customs.

The earliest known recording of the Crossbones symbol was by the Ancient Greeks, c. 1,000 BC to c. 300 BC. We know, old as.
During the Middle Ages, the symbol was used in Christian art to represent the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Then in 1300s the bubonic plague ravaged Europe & to warn others of the danger; plague doctors would wear a mask. This had a beak-shaped nose filled with herbs & spices to protect themselves from the disease & often adorned with the symbol.
Following on, around 13thC-17thC early alchemists’ many experiments were dangerous & potentially deadly so to warn people of the hazards of their work, alchemists would mark their experiments & laboratory equipment with the symbol.
Going into the Golden Age of Piracy in the 17th & 18th centuries the Crossbones symbol became most closely associated with danger and warning. Pirates would fly the Jolly Roger flag as they attacked merchant ships, sending a clear message that surrender was the only option.
Being equipped with such knowledge about this unmistakably iconic symbol, it can’t be surprising to learn that our Crossbones ring is worn world-wide. It’s a great addition, or start of, any BMM Collection!
